Since 2001, I’ve helped my clients break through the obstacles that seem to be holding them back in life. Life's too short to be unhappy, unsure, or unfulfilled. I am here to help my clients achieve a more positive outlook on life, and provide them with all the tools necessary to get them there. ABOUT SHANNAN ROBERTS, MS, LPC
Every year, millions of Americans face anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use and other mental illnesses without seeking help from a professional. Are you where you want to be in your life? Has it turned out to be what you want it to be? Let’s figure out why together and get you headed in the right direction. You don’t have to face this alone, there is a "we" in wellness for a reason. I can help you identify and address the obstacles that negatively impact your life.
In November 2016, I helped form a non-profit that advocates for those impacted by the disease of addiction. The mission of Not One More Alabama, Inc. is to empower people that have been paralyzed by the stigma of mental illness and addiction. I believe that family involvement is key to long-term recovery so working with patients and their families has been my specialty.
We are located in downtown Huntsville, at the corner of Madison St. and Lowe Ave - just blocks away from Huntsville Hospital

ABOUT VALANNDA HAZZARD, MS, ALC
It’s okay to want to create the best version of yourself, but also not getting so entangled in outlining and dreaming about that future self that you miss out on learning and understanding the extraordinary person you are today. The real person you are today will be the stepping stones used to create the ideal self you imagine for your future. This belief is the starting point of your growth process. Therapy can be the starting point in your growth process. My goal is to help you understand that process.
In my clinical orientation, I apply an eclectic approach to therapy based on the individual and unique needs of the client. However, I have a deeper orientation and inclination to the humanistic and wellness perspectives with an emphasis on self-concept. My strengths are focused around issues of self-esteem, anxiety, stress, and related emotional issues.
My aim is to assist you with discovering and implementing those tools needed to sustain you in your unique process to become your best self through empathy, validation, and perseverance. Together, I believe, we can discover the fundamental elements of your story and turn them into the best real performance of your life.
